Lan Yu
A love story between a country boy in Beijing to study and a wealthy businessman set against the backdrop of the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident.
Lan Yu was first released in Hong Kong in 2001, directed by the renowned Hong Kong director, Stanley Kwan.
The film was selected in Un Certain Regard at 54th Cannes Film Festival, and won 5 awards at 38th Golden Horse Awards including Best Director, Best Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay.
